Thank You!

My heartfelt thanks go out to the hundreds and hundreds of campaign contributors and volunteers.  This victory is truly of the people, by the people and for the people.

Our message of bringing responsibility back to our state government resonated with the voters.  It started by only accepting contributions from individuals.  It will continue by listening to you and legislating with common sense.

As we move forward from election day, much work needs to be done.  It’s time to get down to the business of serving the people.  We can solve the budget problems and get our economy moving again by working together.

Economy
Economic prosperity is best achieved by private sector job creation. Minnesota must lower taxes on business and reduce or remove burdensome regulations.
Budget
Minnesota’s financial stability and sustainability can only be restored by a comprehensive reduction in the size and expectation of government.
Education
I support a vibrant education system that embraces a variety of learning environments to be determined and directed at the local level.
Healthcare
Recently enacted federal health reform legislation does nothing to reduce increasing health care costs; in fact, it will serve to exacerbate the problem.
